Welcome to the 30th Annual Garden Tour presented by the Historical Society of Old Newbury. Fifteen gardens will be showcased on this year's tour to benefit the Cushing House Museum and Garden, a National Historical Landmark in the seacoast town of Newburyport, Massachusetts.

Many of the gardens are newly constructed and have strong elements of contemporary design. Special features of the gardens include creative stonework, water aspects, and exceptionally dramatic hardscapes such as courtyards, outdoor fireplaces, stone walls and paving.

Also featured are a pastoral garden and three pairs of neighborly gardens where flowers abound to soften the new edges of our visionary tour. Pairing of some of the gardens significantly eliminates driving between properties.

Free refreshments will be available at selected gardens, and snacks accompanied by classical music will be served in the garden behind the Cushing House at 98 High Street, Newburyport. Behind the Cushing House there will also be a Plant Sale and the Gilded Horse Shop, featuring collectibles and garden items in the Carriage House throughout the weekend.
